After 2-3 years of planning, 18 months of intensive fundraising and grant applications raising in excess of £85,000, followed by 6 months of building works, the Village Hall Committee were thrilled to officially open the new Community Cafe on Sat, 3rd Dec, 2022.

The brand new kitchen and cafe area is run by a team of volunteers that give up their time in a range of different roles to make the modern cafe a great community hub for meeting, socialising, or in some cases as a quick stop-off for a barista coffee, hot butty or delicious slice of cake whilst out walking the dog or on way to work!  The facility also provides opportunities and support for Duke Of Edinburgh volunteering.
